One would have thought that Jew-hatred would have died out with the Nazi death camps. The dreadful images of the survivors showed that Jews were not dangerous or powerful.
Despite this, in the late 20th and early 21st century there are still people preaching anti-Jewish hatred.
Jews are still often the scapegoats when things go wrong in society. It is still sadly true that synagogues all over the world require security guards, because the threat of attack is real.
