A Nazi euthanasia (extermination) centre, which operated between November 1940 and July 1943 in Bernberg, Saxony. Bernburg was first opened for use in the Nazis’ T-4 programme (the code name for the Nazis euthanasia programme of disabled people) before being used to murder concentration camp inmates.
