Emanuel Ringelblum (21 November 1900 – 10 March 1944) was a Polish historian. He was incarcerated in the Warsaw Ghetto where he led on a secret project to document everyday life in the ghetto. In 1944, Ringelblum and his family escaped the ghetto and hid in the city of Warsaw, but were soon denounced to the Gestapo.
