Julius Streicher

Julius Streicher (12 February 1885 – 16 October 1946) was a German Nazi politician. Streicher was central to the Nazi propaganda strategy against Jews, and founded the antisemitic newspaper Der Stürmer, as well as a series of antisemitic children’s books. At the end of the Second World War, Streicher was arrested by the Allies, convicted and sentenced to death. He was executed on 16 October 1961.
