Karl Jäger

Karl Jäger (20 September 1888 – 22 June 1959) was an SS official in Nazi Germany. Jäger was the leader of Einsatzcommando 3a, a sub-unit of Einsatzgruppe A. Jäger participated in and directed the murder of thousands of people in eastern Europe. After the war, Jäger worked as a farm hand, until his SS reports were rediscovered in 1959. Following the rediscovery of these reports, and the atrocities detailed within, Jäger took his own life.
