Lieutenant General Lothar von Trotha

Lieutenant General Lothar von Trotha (3 July 1848 – 31 March 1920) was a military commander in the German army. He served in several countries including supressing the Boxer Rebellion in China and leading the German forces in German South West Africa (modern-day Namibia) during the Herero and Namaqua Genocide of 1904-1907.
