A short-lived organisation (established in 1940 and disbanded in autumn 1941) which aimed to restore Lithuania’s independence following its occupation by the Soviet Union. Its members were extremely antisemitic and anti-Polish, and collaborated with Nazi Germany in committing atrocities.
