The Lvov Pogroms took place from late June 1941 until July 1941, following the Nazis invasion of the Soviet Union. Local Jews were blamed with supporting the Soviets, and violence soon spread. Women and men were stripped, raped, and beaten by Ukrainian militia in the streets of Lvov. Approximately 6000 Jews died.
