Oswald Mosley

Oswald Mosley (16 November 1896 – 3 December 1980) was far-right British politician who founded the British Union of Fascists (BUF) in 1932. In 1940, Mosley’s sympathy to fascism meant that he was seen a threat to the security of the nation, and imprisoned in Holloway Prison with his wife. He was released in 1943, and subsequently emigrated to Ireland in 1951.
