Sophie Scholl

Sophie Scholl (9 May 1921 – 22 February 1943) was a member of the White Rose Resistance Group and a student at Munich University, where she helped to create and distribute anti-Nazi pamphlets and graffiti which criticised the Nazis’ rule and called for wider resistance to the Nazis. Scholl was arrested by the Gestapo on 18 February 1943 and executed on the 22 February 1943.
