A declaration signed in Stockholm, Sweden, on 27 January 2000 (the fifty-fifth anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz), by forty-six governments from around the world, including Britain. The declaration committed those present to preserving the memory of those killed in the Holocaust in their own countries.
