Theodore Eicke

Theodore Eicke (17 October 1892 – 26 February 1943) was a politician in Nazi Germany. Eicke was the second commandant of Dachau Concentration Camp, and went on to become the Inspector of Concentration Camps, overseeing their reorganisation under the SS. He later also became the commander of the SS Death’s Head Units, the armed SS officers who guarded and ran the concentration camps.
